Booking terms and conditions
Our detailed booking terms and conditions are outlined below. Should you have any further queries or requests ahead of your visit, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Making a reservation
16th October 2020 update: The maximum booking is currently 6 people. Should you be dining inside please ensure that all guests in your party are from your own household. If you are dining on the Terrace there are no restrictions on whom may be in your group.
For parties of 4 – 6 people, credit card details are taken to secure the booking, they will not be used for deposit purposes, however we do operate a strict no-show or late cancellation policy (48hrs notice required) of £10 per person.
2nd December 2020 update:
Bookings made for 27th & 28th December 2020 require a £10 per person deposit which will be used towards the final cost of your meal. We operate a strict no-show or late cancellation policy (48hrs notice required).
Bookings made for 31st December 2020 require full pre-payment per person for the set menu including service charge as a deposit. We operate a strict no-show or late cancellation policy (7 days notice required).
10th September 2020 update: The maximum booking is currently 6 people.
Bookings for 8-15 guests require a £25 per person deposit at the time of booking. We have a 7 day cancellation policy after which this deposit is non-refundable, this includes any no shows from your party.
July 2020 update: Due to circumstances we are not currently opening for Shabbat.
Friday night and Saturday lunch Shabbat meals are paid for at the time of reservation. Your credit or debit card will be charged for the prix-fixe dinner menu for each guest in your party.
Your card is also taken as security for any additional items you may order on Shabbat and our discretionary service fee which will be charged to your card after Shabbat, which is after sundown on Saturday. In making your booking with us you are consenting to your card being charged for these additional expenses only. Please note, your card is not being charged for deposit purposes.
Cancellations for Friday night and Saturday lunch bookings are permitted until 12pm on the Wednesday prior to your booking. We operate a strict no-show policy of 100% per person.
Shabbat group bookings
Bookings for 9-29 guests on Shabbat (Friday dinner or Saturday lunch) require a £25 per person deposit at the time of booking. Final payment and full food orders are due 1 week prior to your booking. We have a 1 week cancellation policy after which no refunds will be issued.
Tish Bar & Restaurant uses Stripe Payments UK Ltd, a third party payment processing service provider, for collecting and processing your credit or debit card details for prepayment of Friday night and Saturday lunch reservations.
Stripe may from time to time provide us with information regarding the credits and debits made to your card to enable us to reconcile our accounts and to charge any relevant additional payments to your card after Shabbat. Stripe will delete your card details per your request at any time.
As a condition of Tish Bar & Restaurant enabling payment processing services through Stripe, you agree to provide Tish Bar & Restaurant accurate and complete information, and you authorise Tish Bar & Restaurant to share it and transaction information related to your use of the payment processing services provided by Stripe.
